Specifically engineered structures are implemented to accommodate project defined Air Handling Equipment that are relevant to the overall ISO room standard requirements.
Steel support structure for walk-on ceilings:
Due to unacceptable roof loading and potential deflection, standalone structures are designed to support walk-on ceilings, lights, ductwork and HEPA filters.
Full height cleanroom standard dividing wall:
To comply with building regulations and to provide fire compartmentation, a full height cleanroom standard wall can be designed to provide 60 minutes fire resistance with a deflection head detail if required.
Seam welded vinyl flooring:
For general traffic areas and ease of cleaning seam-welded vinyl floor, self-coved 100mm up Cleanroom walls can be used for ease of cleaning.
Flush cleanroom partitions:
In this walkthrough you can see insulated cleanroom partitions with white food safe finishing alongside with flush joints, windows and Contrasting doors all mastic sealed for air-tightness. Furthermore, the load bearing will be made suitable for walk-on ceiling and equipment loads.
3-Component Self Levelling Epoxy Resin Flooring:
In this instance for high loading and traffic areas we specified epoxy resin flooring consisting of 3 layers; primer, resin screed and a resin seal coat applied by roller. In an instance where there is freshly laid concreate, 2 coats of DPM sealer will be laid first to prevent dampness affecting the finished flooring. This system will achieve a very flat, smooth, heavy duty finish which will eradicate nearly all undulations and imperfections within the existing substrate and is usually installed with a five-year warranty.
Wide Span Walk-on ceilings:
We designed and installed walk-on ceilings to fully comply with BS:6399. UDL loads have been hung from steel support structure independent of the main building structure. Flush double-glazed windows can be incorporated for general visibility and 2m wide horizontal viewing panels which allows clients and visitors to view manufacturing operations with clear lines of sight. For this project, the lighting is PIR operated LED flush panels provide up to 1000LUX .
Cleanroom Equipment – Smart Design is Key for Compliance When considering the selection of materials and finishes for the Cleanroom envelope, care must be taken to choose those that will provide the shred-free and cleanability levels required to comply with ISO 14644 – 4. Just as important, is the requirement for the equipment to be […]
