Silicone jointed partitioning systems were installed to the newly created first floor office in order to create the main meeting room space along with two private offices at the back of the room for the company’s directors. Additional furnishings were also supplied and installed to this main office area.
SEC also made allowances to link the first floor office to the ground floor warehouse so employees could move freely throughout both spaces. Multiple runs of adjustable pallet racking were installed in the warehouse, maximising storage capacity within the available space, and a pallet gate was installed atop the mezzanine floor, ready for the transference
of products to the ground floor below. In the newly constructed chiller SEC also installed a new refrigeration system complete with a condensing unit, evaporators and a control panel.
Our joint storage and interiors led solution has equipped Taste of Sicily with a modern and fully refurbished facility that was ready for the company’s proposed move-in date. This
fit-out has allowed the company to bring all aspects of their operation all under one roof, and the facility will no doubt serve them for many years to come.
Stud and track partitioning was installed throughout the mezzanine forming a variety of new spaces, including a staff kitchen break-out area, a small product showroom and general office space for the Taste of Sicily team. The ground floor kitchen break-out area was fitted with new units, stylish mosaic effect splashback tiles, integrated appliances and a breakfast bar feature, whilst the product showroom benefitted from a similar aesthetic treatment.
