Overview

The Systems Division provides fully integrated and complete warehouse solutions using a range of high quality products and space optimising features including pallet racking, cantilever and multi-tier racking, longspan and carton live shelving systems as well as mezzanine floors .

Furthermore, we are able to integrate a number of automation and technology features such as conveyor systems, AGVs, WMS, goods lifts as well as use Artificial Intelligence to aid operational efficiency.

Working alongside our sister company SEC Interiors we are able to design and install core office facilities as part of our warehouse storage solution to include office mezzanine floors, staff WCs, partitioning systems, commercial lighting, office flooring and HVAC, as well as provide a wide range of contemporary furniture options to suit your requirements.

The Systems Division is extremely proud of the incredible supply network we have built over the past 20 years and our partners consistently add value by contributing specialist expertise on over 75 products.

Overview

We have extremely strong relationships with all our key suppliers. This means that we can offer expertise, knowledge and extremely competitive pricing on all of the products we sell without manufacturing them in-house.

We do not manufacture as doing so would sacrifice the independence of our solutions and our priority is to our customers’ requirements, not our factory’s.

With an independent supply chain, we are able to provide the right solution for you free from vested interest.

With an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick and a masters degree in Logistics from Cranfield University, Harry Watts is at the forefront of data analysis and simulation, enabling SEC Storage to provide intelligent, flexible and data-driven solutions for its clients.

With over 30 years working on warehouse storage system designs, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, having seen the industry evolve from a maximum pallet capacity ethos to warehouses playing a pivotal role in an organisations competitive advantage.

Our 9-step design process

Stage 1: Requirements Gathering
- Meet face-to-face to discuss your requirements and begin the process of establishing a project brief
- Extract key information about your current operations
- Confirm objectives, introduce our approach and recommendations
Step 2: Data Gathering
- Submit our data request requirements to understand volumetrics, goods in and order-profile data
- Our operations analyst will review and provide recommendations and proposed solution
Stage 3: Design Production
- Carry out extensive statistical analysis, review information and present
- Provide you with an initial concept layout
- Finalise development and design
Stage 4: Design Optimisation
- Testing/quality check and analysis of design
- Pressure testing: Simulation, through-put analysis and hot-spot testing to ensure the solution is viable
- Calculating the operational improvements and return on investment opportunities that the solution offers
